The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, held a scientific workshop on (Artificial Intelligence and its uses in the sports field), in which Prof. Dr. Alaa Tuaima Abdel Kazem and M. Ali Jawad Kazem
The workshop aims to:
Explaining the positive and negative uses of artificial intelligence in the sports field, as well as explaining the cases of use of artificial intelligence
In sports, at the end of the workshop, the uses of ChatGPT were discussed
in sport.
The workshop included the following topics:

• What is artificial intelligence?
• Positive areas of artificial intelligence development related to sports.
• Negative areas of AI development related to sports.
• Cases of using artificial intelligence in sports.
• Uses of ChatGPT in sports.
  The workshop recommended the need to pay attention to artificial intelligence, invest in its enormous potential in the sports field, and work on organizing similar workshops to increase awareness and education towards its use in the sports field.
