The message aims to identify: 1- Preparing educational units according to the model of self-regulated learning in reflective thinking and acquiring some basic handball skills for specialized centers in the Middle Euphrates region. 2- Identifying the impact of educational units according to the self-regulated learning model on reflective thinking and acquiring some basic handball skills for specialized centers. 3- Identifying the superior effect in the post-tests between the two groups on contemplative thinking and acquiring some basic handball skills for specialized centers. The message concluded: 1- The effect of the John Zahorik model in increasing the achievement of the players of the specialized centers in the Sports Talent Hall in Al-Muthanna Governorate in some offensive skills in handball through a comparison between the players of the experimental group that studied according to the John Zahorik model and the control group that studied according to the followed method. 2- Studying according to John Zahorek’s model helped the players think, express opinions, and discuss the topic of the lecture. 3 – By presenting, explaining and applying the skills in the educational and applied parts in the main part of the educational units, it contributes positively to learning offensive skills in handball. 4 – The model had an effective impact in increasing learners’ motivation and relying on themselves in thinking and exploration. 5- The effect of the Zahorik model in developing contemplative thinking for players in specialized centers through the pre- and post-test scores of the two groups and through a comparison between the post-test scores of the experimental group that studied according to the model and the post-test scores of the control group that studied according to the followed method. The message recommended:- 1- Adopting John Zahorik’s model by conducting this study on other activities. 2- Preparing a training or guidance program for teachers on how to use the model to develop offensive skills in handball. 3- The need to emphasize the use of a model that encourages the learner’s role in the educational process and his involvement in it. 4- The researcher recommends conducting this study on other sports skills.
