The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a training workshop for squash

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a training workshop for squash, in which the President of the Central Squash Federation, Professor Dr. Ali Jihad and Professor Dr. Alaa Abdel Wahab Al-Tamimi, lectured and was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Ali Raad.
The workshop aims to
It aims to spread the game in Diwaniyah Governorate in general and Al-Qadisiyah University in particular and clarify the game’s law and ways to develop training skills for it.
The workshop included
A detailed explanation of the game, its skills, and how to train these skills. Many professors, students, and players participated in it
The workshop concluded:

1. There is a large attendance and demand to learn about the game of squash and to know its skills and details, including the court, tools, and special basic skills.
2. It is possible to build a basic base for the game in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate and prepare a team of players from different categories representing a governorate team or a university team and clubs.
   The workshop recommended:
   Opening a sub-union in the governorate, which is responsible for preparing coaches and referees for the game by holding training workshops and other training courses.
