A- Understanding the role of physical education: educational, psychological and social, and its importance in building society. 6. Admission standard (setting regulations related to admission to the college or institute)

Admission is direct according to the regulations approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Conditions and controls for admission to the department:-

  • Subject(1).

Preparatory school graduates (scientific, literary, and vocational only) are entitled to apply according to the following:

1- Students who are graduates of the scientific and literary branches, morning, evening, and community, provided that their totals are not less than (420), that is, by obtaining an average of (60%).

2- Students who are graduates of morning and evening vocational preparatory schools, provided that their totals are not less than (520), that is, by obtaining an average of (65%).

  • Subject(2).

Acceptance of Olympic Committee candidates:

A – To have a grade of (50%) among graduates of the scientific, literary and professional stream among those who meet the conditions mentioned in the following paragraph..

B- That they meet one of the following conditions:

1- Players participating in an Olympic tournament.

2- Players who won first to sixth place in one of the international tournaments approved by the International Federation of the Game.

3- Players who won first to sixth place in one of the Asian championships accredited by the Asian Football Confederation.

4- Players who won first to sixth place in one of the Arab tournaments accredited by the Arab Football Federation.

5- The players who won first, second, or third place in an Iraqi championship are registered in the education book in Baghdad and the governorates, with approval from the Ministry of Education.

C- This must be proven by official letters from the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, the Secretariat Office (except Paragraph 7 above), and the authenticity of the issuance of these letters must be verified by the relevant authority..
